HOLBEIN Ox gall medium, 60ml. For water colours it is used as a levelling and wetting agent, allowing to reduce the colour tension and to improve the colour flow.

HOLBEIN Medium Ox Ox Honey 60ml

Instructions for use:

It is used in a few drops diluted in water, which is used directly to dilute watercolour colours.

It is used on hard, thick and textured papers to reduce the surface tension for subsequent colour application.

If a paper resists a layer of watercolour, allow it to dry before covering the paper with the diluted ox gall. Once it is dry, painting can continue in the usual way.
