RENESANS Watercolour Graphite 60ml.

It is made from molten charcoal and gum arabic. The charcoal particles are small and have the richest black tones, making it possible to create any work as with a water-based paint.

As the charcoal particles are larger than other pigments used in watercolours, the effect obtained is grainy. It can be effected by the use of rougher paper and by the amount of water added. When dry, it is matt and will have different areas of texture and graininess. As gum arabic is a good soluble medium, it allows charcoal water to be reused, similar to watercolour paints.

- ompared to black watercolour paint, shows a difference in pigment granulation, which is useful for special effects or for very intense shades when mixed with other paints

- can be reactivated with water when dry

- can be used wet or dry

- can be applied with different brushes and other painting tools, as well as with the fingers

- can be used on any absorbent surface, such as watercolour papers, canvases and panels previously covered with watercolour ground.

- for the safety of the finished work it is recommended to use a fixative.
