Jacques Herbin 1670 aniversary edition, hence the name of his premium ink line. The 1670 line was launched in 2010 on its 340th anniversary with the Rouge Hematite ink, the first of the 1670 ink series. That ink is a deep red with a golden sheen, and is still sold today. They followed with Bleu Ocean in 2012, Stormy Grey in 2014 and then Emerald of Chivor in 2015. The ink comes in a 50 ml bottle with a decorative wax seal and a flexible wax cap.The neck of the bottle is quite narrow, so you may want to decant the ink into a sample vial, another bottle, or use an ink syringe with your large pens.In 2024 J. Herbin launches the colour Fuchsia de Magellan, a deep pink with a spectacular golden glow.
