CATALYST Contourn Nylon Spatula

Catalyst™ tools are now available in contours. The contours are made of rigid nylon and are heat resistant, solvent resistant, dishwasher safe and FDA food approved. These great features, combined with their new shapes and convenient sizes, allow for great creativity in cake decorating, food processing, ceramics, plaster and heavy acrylic materials.

Designed for use with full-bodied paints, Catalyst™ is perfectly suited to oils, acrylics and water-miscible oils. Because they are heat resistant, they excel in encaustic. Artists use them with plaster, clay and even glaze. Made from FDA-approved silicone, Catalyst™ blades and wedges are ideal for food processing.

Cleaning is easy with Catalyst™ blades and wedges. The silicone is easy to clean and resistant to solvents. Cleaning in most cases can be done with mild soap and water. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. The Catalyst™ blades can be detached from their wooden handles for easy cleaning and replacement when dry.
